In 1888, there is little more than a machine factory where the town of Winden will later stand, owned by the wealthy industrialist Gustav Tannhaus. He and his father before him, have spent decades researching time travel with the secret society Sic Mundus. Now he has received visitors or travelers from the future. They seem to be living and working at the factory and conducting mysterious electrical experiments. [1]
