I probably just need to rewatch the whole show since I've only seen it once. But can anyone clarify? So Taunhauser is the origin. He opens the wormhole or whatever and creates the alternate realities. But does he ever attempt to travel himself? And if not, who is the first to discover the ability to travel and utilizes it?
What's on your mind?

Hey everyone. So, I’m watching the show, and the Wiki really helps me keep track on who’s who and what the relationships are between the characters. I remember there used to be a section in the infoboxes for family members of a specific character, and that really helped me understand who is their own ancestor/descendant, but now, it seems like it never existed. Does anyone know what happened?
I'm wondering who the father of Alt-Ulrich is. Is there an Alt-Tronte?
Can someone remind me cause I am drawing a blank, what was the point of the apocalypse again?, I think adam said to start a new world but I don't recall what he would gain from it.
I am curious has ever been lost media involved in this franchise, like a lost episode, a promotional video or photo or a lost script, something like that.
Martha goes through the chain link fence and gets a cut under her RIGHT eye, but earlier episodes show a cut under her LEFT eye. Did I miss something or is this addressed later on?
Hi all. I'm just watching Dark for the first time and I'm up to episode 6 in season 1. One thing that bothers me is the scene where Charlotte is looking through the wildlife cam footage and sees Peter's car at the time of Mikkel's disappearance, that's in episode 4.
Now, Mikkel got missing on the night of November 4th, between 21:30 and 22:30. However, in that scene, Charlotte is watching footage from October 25th as evident by the dates and filenames on the SD card from the wildlife cam.
So my question is, is that date discrepancy something that will later be explained in the show, or is it a mistake by the writers? Please no spoilers, thanks!
How did claudia figure out that there is a third world when it had never happened before? As we know that every thing repeats itself in the show...then how did claudia figure it out?it had never happened before that?and how did jonas and martha stopped the accident???it had never happened before....? This is the only thing that confuses me in the show... is it related to the loophole or something? Someone please clear this for me.
I cant understand this scene,if they saw each other already when they were young, that means the travel to orginal world already happened,no?(and how can u know that we see is the young alt Martha and not the one from Adams world?)
I noticed at the dinner scene at the end of the last episode Alexander is not there. His birth was not created from time travel so he should still be alive. Did he and Regina just not get married? Im assuming they would not have met because Ulrich and Katharina wouldnt have been bullying Regina.
We know Elisabeth got it from Noah who told him that it belonged to her mother. At that time Noah was not aware that Charlotte is his daughter. Charlotte herself doesn't seem to recognize the watch. So, Noah probably thought it belonged to Charlotte only because his younger self noticed future Elisabeth had it with her.
Then we see in 2041 Charlotte took the watch while kidnapping her newborn self. But we also see Oldman Tannhaus had that pocket watch back in early 1800s.
So the question is how did Noah get the watch in the first place?
That has me confused.
So here is a big spoiler for S3!!
No matter how many times I've read different theories and explanations, I still do not get the last part.
It was an integral part of Dark's logic that it is basically impossible to change the past as its future exists. Like how Noah and Jonas experienced. Jonas couldn't die because his older self was alive.
So how come Jonas and alt Martha managed to change the past? How is it possible to save H.G. Tannhaus's family from dying, while they literally died? Isn't it contradicting everything we observed in S1 and S2?
I'd really appreciate a good explanation! Thanks...
In season 3, Eva sends Egon to 2020 just before the apocalypse to preserve the family line....but I don't understand that. Alt-Hannah is about to give birth to her child with alt-Ulrich. Other than being alt-Claudia´s father, what other role does he play in Eva's world?
The same about Noah. He is the son of Bartosz and Silja, who I assume exists in this world. But who are Silja's parents? Hannah and..?
Is it possible that he has not yet understood that there is no free will?
Dak say it all repeats itself but it all seems wrong to me! None of the characters live within a Loop. So how can they say this?
Mine is actually Magnus Nielsen
